While we all love makeup, we know that taking it off is just as important as putting it on. Therefore, I’ve compiled a list of the most relevant makeup removers I have tried so far and ranked them for you. Here is the list of favorites to least favorite:
1= NOT a fan
5= Average, nothing special
10 = LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water
Rating 9.5/10
If you’re looking for the best drugstore makeup remover, then here is your answer. The Garnier Micellar water thoroughly takes off all your makeup, including your eye makeup, without irritating your skin or leaving your skin feeling dry. If I had to choose one out of all the products in this list, it would be this one.

Rating 9/10
This product is GREAT at removing makeup. It has a very nice smell, fully removes all my makeup, and doesn’t leave an uncomfortable residue feeling on my skin. If you follow up this product with your favorite cleanser then you can guarantee your skin is squeaky clean. However the $49 price tag seems pretty hefty to me.

Caudalie Vinoclean Cleansing Oil
Rating: 5.5/10
The Caudalie Cleansing Oil didn’t blow me away. Especially with the brand name and the $30 price tag, I was hoping for something special. While it removed my face makeup well, it struggled to remove my eye makeup. I found myself not being able to fully rely on this product to remove my makeup at the end of the day.

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Oil
Rating: 5/10
This one was another “meh” product for me. I think I’m discovering that I’m not normally a huge fan of cleansing oils. I find that they don’t do a great job of removing eye makeup and I HATE the way that they can leave my eyes blurry.

Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes
Rating 4/10
While it seems that these makeup remover wipes are a go-to for lots of people, I really don’t like them. Not only do they do a poor job of removing all my makeup, they irritate my eyes and often cause a burning sensation. Definitely skip this product and invest in better makeup removers if you can.
